16 Cleanup Option B: Bio-Remediation This is an acceptable method by Regulatory Agencies. It can be done as an alternative to Excavation or as enhancement when Soil is not accessible for Excavation.

17 First: 2 inch Ports are installed and cut flush with the ground level. Cleanup Option B: Bio-Remediation A gravel bed helps spread the Remediating Bacteria.

18 Next: Bio-Remediation & Oxygen is introduced into these ports over a period of time. Cleanup Option B: Bio-Remediation

19 After several applications, the Soil will become more saturated with Oxygen and Remediating Bacteria. Cleanup Option B: Bio-Remediation

20 Amount of Treatments and the length of time for Remediation to occur, depends on severity of contamination at each site. Cleanup Option B: Bio-Remediation

21 Over a period of time, the Contamination will degrade and dissipate. Cleanup Option B: Bio-Remediation

22 After the initial phase of Applications, the Ports will be cut and capped flush to the ground. Cleanup Option B: Bio-Remediation

23 These Ports can be accessed in the future for additional Bio-Applications if necessary. Cleanup Option B: Bio-Remediation
