3. Possible Worlds
A possible world in which things are the way they could be. Possible worlds are infinite. The possibilities are endless.

4. Plantinga’s Ontological Argument
There is a possible world where there is a being which can exist in every possible world and therefore does. (maximal greatness).
It is also possible that this being also has maximal excellence which must entail omnipotence, omniscience and moral perfection.
If it has these qualities and maximal greatness, the being must exist in our world.
Therefore, there is a God.

Explain why Mr Whitlock can’t have maximal greatness. Give examples of possible worlds to illustrate your point.
Explain what is meant by maximal excellence.
Could a being who has only maximal excellence and not maximal greatness exist in all worlds? Explain you answer.
