“Biodiversity is our most valuable but least appreciated asset, or feature of out natural capital.” (pg. 281) What is Willson talking about? What is natural capital? Give one or two examples of how we (humans) could capitalize on biodiversity, economically and resiliently? …permanent loss of genetic information [extinction] means loss of information on past ecological conditions.” (pg.?) What does this mean in the context of evolution? How does this connect to the importance of biodiversity? Chapter 14: Resolution Pick one of Wilson’s 5 enterprises… What is it?
