2 What is IFC? A liaison committee between the President the four campus faculties. Brings to the President representative views of the four campus faculties on such problems as the President wishes to bring to the IFC. Composed of 12 faculty members holding regular academic staff positions. Three members shall be elected from each of the four campuses. 9/19/2017 IFC Report

3 President’s Budget Comments
Need to cut nondiscretionary spending (currently at $300 million) Need to share benefits of cuts with faculty Recognizes low relative compensation of MU System faculty (currently lowest 20%) Poaching problem Need to recognize faculty who stay with merit raises Also need COLA raises Need to educate public about what faculty do Faculty Roadshow 9/19/2017 IFC Report
