Home Links / Reading Home Links are a part of MPS Every Day Math curriculum. Home Links will be in your child’s Take Home Binder. The students will be doing a home link every day of the week except for Fridays (weeks permitting). Instead of grades for math and reading homework, we will be doing an incentive plan. They must complete 20 Home Links or read and recall pages to get to eat with any friend at lunch in third grade. Every month completed, they will receive a Pizza Hut Book It coupon for a free kids pizza. The top reader for each class will also receive a Thunder prize.

Other Homework Spelling Lists will be put on our websites/Newsletters. Tests will be on Friday for ELA stories, Spelling Tests, Math Tests unless there is a holiday or otherwise posted. Practice spelling words. Reading 20 minutes a night is recommended.

Take Home Binder Please check every night, the items in this binder come back every day, and are only to be taken out to do the work or study.

Folder These will have graded papers and extra pages from the district, town events, and activities. The items on the left can be left at home. The items on the right need to be brought back to school.

Great Expectations -We will value one another as unique and special individuals. -We will not laugh at or make fun of a person’s mistakes, nor use sarcasm of putdowns. -We will use good manners, saying “please,” “thank you,” and “excuse me” and allow others to go first. -We will cheer each other to success. -We will help one another whenever possible. -We will recognize every effort and applaud it. -We will encourage each other to do our best. -We will practice virtuous living using the life principles.
