2 Young Londoners Fund Helping children and young people aged 10 to 21 to fulfil their potential, particularly those at risk of getting caught up in crime. It will support a range of education, sport, cultural and other activities. The 3-year fund will see £30 million made available for projects in local communities. The remaining £15 million will be invested to expand existing projects funded by City Hall that support young Londoners.

4 Who can apply Your organisation must be legally constituted
Your annual grant proposed must not be more than 50 per cent of the annual turnover of your organisation Your lead applicant must be able to provide audited/examined accounts You must have a proven track record in the work your organisation does You must have expertise and / or experience in delivering the kind of work set out in your proposal. You should have or commit to working towards the London Youth Quality Mark.

5 Who the funding will support
Young people at risk of exclusion or involvement in criminal activity, for example: Potentially being excluded from school or college, or social exclusion Living in a disadvantaged neighbourhood, having a disrupted family, having a convicted parent or sibling Young people who’ve been involved in criminal activity, for example: Having a criminal conviction or any other sanction In contact with a Youth Offending Team or Service

7 Creative proposals which include activities you think can make the most difference to young people
Based on evidence of what works Young people must be involved in the project design and delivery We want to see projects that work with other services and community groups that support young people. Larger grant funded projects should incorporate a multi-agency approach into their delivery. Parents and carers are important too. We are interested in projects that support families who have children with complex needs. 11 Young Londoners Fund open for applications
Value How to Apply Deadline Young Londoners Fund £15m 12-noon, 9 July Sport Unites Small Grants Fund £500k Young London Inspired Young London Inspired: Grants of £10,000 - £30,000 per year, for up to three years, to community groups, small charities and voluntary sector organisations to run projects which encourage young Londoners to volunteer or take part in social action. Funded projects will: Work with 10 – 20 year olds on volunteering and/or social action projects which promote wellbeing and emotional resilience. Demonstrate how volunteering and/or social action positively impacts on young people’s wellbeing and emotional resilience. Work with groups that are disproportionately affected by mental health issues such as those within the criminal justice system or young refugees or asylum seekers. During 2018, up to eight grants will be distributed to projects that should be completed by the end of September 2021.

12 Other City Hall funding open for applications
Culture Seeds New funding programme that encourages more arts, culture and heritage activities at grassroots level Microgrants of £1,000 to £5,000 Applications open from May to May 2020 Culture Seeds: Who can apply: individual Londoners - not-for-profit organisations with an annual turnover of less than £50,000 - don’t have to be a formally constituted group. However, you should have a bank account with two signatories or nominate an organisation who can accept the funds on your behalf. must also provide two referees who can vouch for your work in your local community - Culture Seeds is a two-year rolling programme. There are no deadlines and you can apply at any time. Funding will be available until Spring 2020
