To work it out you double the hundreds digit first, then double then tens digit and add them together.
Lets partition the number
Double 300=600 Double 40=80 add them together and you get 680 as your answer to

6. Lets half a number What is Half 1,420? Is this a multiple of 10?
Lets apply the same method as before only in reverse.
