2. When will I get my result ?
You will get a letter with the results about 2 weeks after sending your bowel test

3. What will the results say?
The results will either say:
Normal Result
Unclear Result
Abnormal Result

4. What if I don’t understand ?

5. A Normal Result This means that there was no blood found in your poo
You don’t need to have more bowel tests at this time
You will be sent another bowel test kit in 2 years time

6. An Unclear Result
You will need to do another bowel test kit at home again because the sample you sent in was not clear
Bowel Screening Wales will send you another bowel test kit through the post

7. An Abnormal Result
Your bowel test showed there was some blood in your poo
You will now need some more tests

8. What do I do if I’m worried ?
