To reduce accidents through effective fleet management, increasing the number of safe, qualified drivers in order to deliver a sustainable and profitable supply chain.

Logging Equipment Fires were occurring at alarming rate.
Insurers were declining coverage and significantly increasing rates
TEAM Fire formed in 2001 – Loggers, equipment mfgs, insurance
TEAM Fire - major impact on reduction in logging equipment fire
Loggers more aware of issues
Manufacturers continuing to address fire issues in machine design
Overall much better situation than 20 years ago when TEAM began

16. TEAM Safe Trucking What is TST?
The TEAM Safe Trucking Initiative is a national cooperative to create an awareness, education, and training program that will be available to all who have log, chip, and bark hauling operations or exposure to such operations.
