1 Eagle Football Spring Parent Meeting

2 Spring Football Calendar

3 Spring 7 on 7 and Lineman Challenge
-We will play 2 games each week at Reedy HS 3003 Stonebrook Pkwy, Frisco, TX 75034 -Each game will have two 20 minute halves with a running clock. -We will play by normal 7 on 7 rules and scoring, except for turn overs which will be dead to avoid any injury or unnecessary risk. No overtime. -We will have field space for JV on the grass fields. JV will play round robin with the other JV teams. If only 1 JV is available, then we will not have JV for the night. -Each team will be responsible for providing 1 coach for each field that their team is playing on. Please bring a whistle and a stop watch. -We will try to have games start at 5:30 pm. -Have you kids bring a light and a dark shirt if possible. -Games will be Mondays. In the event of bad weather, we can move games to the following Wednesday if coaches agree. -Our OL and DL coaches will be hosting a “fat man” competition each week during 7 on 7 for those that would like to participate.

Ask your counselor for a list of your high school’s NCAA-approved core courses to make sure you take the right classes. Sign up for a free Profile Page to receive reminders about NCAA academic and amateurism requirements. 10TH – REGISTER Register for a Profile Page or Certification Account with the NCAA Eligibility Center at eligibilitycenter.org. Complete all recruiting questionnaires for schools you are interested in If you fall behind academically, ask your counselor for help finding approved courses you can take. Take practice SAT/ACT courses and test Attend summer camps of schools you are interested in

14 11th GRADE 11TH – STUDY Check with your counselor to make sure you are on track to complete the required number of NCAA-approved courses. Take the ACT or SAT and submit your scores to the NCAA Eligibility Center using code 9999. At the end of the year, ask your counselor to upload your official transcript to the NCAA Eligibility Center. Make sure you are on track to graduate on time with your class. Make unofficial visits to schools you're interested in. Attend summer camps of schools you are interested in. 18 Discipline Our athletes will be held to a higher standard. If they get into trouble in school they will have consequences in athletics. ISS or DAEP will result in a suspension from competition.
