Mini Ninjas
Come join a very active learning environment in a traditional martial arts setting where your child will build many of the core principles of strong character including: self-confidence, self-discipline, self-control, coordination, listening skills, focus, awareness, attention, social skills, respect, courtesy and teamwork. Our instructors have high expectations, they want students to be willing to try new things and make mistakes in a supportive learning environment that meets kids where they are at physically, mentally, and socially, because long term success in life comes from an early established growth mindset.

Meet Our Instructors
Rebecca Weber is a 16 year old 3rd degree black belt and has been practicing Tang Soo Do for 12 years. She began her journey as a little dragon at 4 years old and now wants to give back what she has learned. For the past 2 ½ years she has been teaching children and adults of all belt levels. She also has years of competition experience in individual forms, sparring, and team forms.. She especially enjoys her role as a karate instructor and hopes that kids have a fantastic experience with her as they begin their first steps in this new program at Seymour Community Tang Soo Do. 
Becca Murphy has been working with children for 13 years as an educator. She holds a master’s degree in elementary education and has been a Connecticut-certified teacher for 8 years. A new student to Tang Soo Do, Becca is looking forward to teaching and learning with our youngest students! Her previous 7 years were spent with preschool and kindergarten-age children in Cheshire, where she lead her school’s program to great success. She loves to diversify instruction, build self-discipline and have fun!
