Little Gunners The core philosophy of the Little Gunners Program is to begin training kids at a critical stage of development and enrich them with the FUNdamentals of soccer while developing basic motor skills and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle not only needed to play soccer but in daily activities Little Gunners will develop coordination, creativity, a positive social interaction and a love for the game that will last a life time! Little Gunners is first and foremost a child development program Advanced soccer drills that you might see during older team practices will not be used during the classes

Child Development Increased psychomotor development through fun fitness activities Introduction to teamwork dynamics Character formation through life lessons such as honesty, sharing, respect, and positive attitudes Development of active lifestyle habits Individual skill development Coordination, balance, and agility development

4. 6 Stages 6 Week Program

5. 6 Key Stages Stage 1- Hand Eye Coordination Stage 1 will consist of lots of activities that include the use of hands Activities may include; catching games, building stations and balance games

6. 6 Key Stages Stage 2- Problem Solving Stage 2 will include activities that make the children think and solve problems Activities may include; castle building, color coded challenges and obstacle courses

7. 6 Key Stages Stage 3- Social Interaction/Partner Work Stage 3 will include activities that will involve a partner or parent Activities may include; small sided team games, partner problem solving and competitions

8. 6 Key Stages Stage 4- Foot Eye Coordination Stage 4 will include activities that work on kicking and foot movement Activities may include; shooting balls on goal, target games, dribbling games

9. 6 Key Stages Stage 5- Basic Soccer Stage 5 will include activities that replicate very basic soccer principles Activities may include; dribble to score a goal, passing games and a mini field with 2 goals

10. 6 Key Stages Stage 6- Soccer Party! Stage 6 will include fun games that the children have learned throughout the program By this stage the group will have completed their program and will be rewarded with certificates/medals and a party!
