1. GEG - How to Create and Certify New Operator

2. Log into CDX. Click on your role (Signatory or Preparer)

3. Click “Request Permission for Existing Operator” or click on “Create a New Operator” and skip to Slide 6

4. Search for Operator either by Name, NPDES ID, or Operator ID

5. Click “Create Operator”

6. Fill out fields with asterisk and click “Submit”

7. Copy your Operator ID for Record and click “Continue”

8. Your New Operator is now located in “My Operator”

9. To Certify, click on the “Actions”

10. Choose “Certify Operator”

11. Either select Certifier or Click “Continue”

12. Read statement and click “Accept”

13. Enter CDX Password and answer Security Question then click “Sign”

14. Click “Close”
