6. CDC Monitoring Overview
IBM software solution that monitors data between pairs of tables in different databases.
When there is a change to a table in the source database, the subscription in CDC goes down and we need to update the target database.
If we find a change, then we need to run a program in Java that will compare those source and target tables and produce an SQL statement that needs to be run on the target in order to make them identical.
