Know Who worldwide directory of employees telephone numbers, assigned roles, languages, CV’s, photos etc. Practice and service line sites tools, methodologies, good example client deliverables, proposals, case studies, thought leadership etc; news, key people. Client information Client explorer - quick access to clients and work done. Global client and industry sector sites Global client explorer, case studies, client deliverables, news etc. Supporting you Ask the experts (information exchange), India Knowledge Center, Centre for Learning, Legal department, Press center. 5 How does Global Gateway work?
x Global Gateway is a a managed portal for practice and service line leaders, global sector leaders and global CRDs to store and share key knowledge and messages to all employees worldwide through their specific sites All content goes through gatekeepers who assign metadata. Content is held once. The metadata is used to target content to relevant sites, e.g. a case study can appear on a service line site, a client site, an industry site and the marketing site as well as in the reference library. News is also tagged and can appear on multiple sites. The metadata is used for keyword search in the Search center. You can browse content in each site using the site left hand navigator. The customized search in the Search center provides the way to search across all the content on Global Gateway. Gold documents (best in class or those documents that practitioners should know about) are recommended by the global and regional service line leaders, global sector leaders or global CRDs. These documents are denoted with a gold star in the search results.

16 Know Who Know Who is the worldwide directory of employees.
It is also Hay Group’s global people database that will support workflow for global systems and application, such as credentials and resourcing. Know Who is fed by Active Directory with employee name, office, telephone number and mobile number. Synchronization occurs every night. Country IT managers maintain Active directory. If any of this information is incorrect for you, please contact your IT manager. There are Know Who co-ordinators for every office who maintain primary role, gender, special roles, alternative contact, languages etc. and upload Global knowledge management team maintain assigned roles such as the Global executive team roles, service line leaders etc, when advised. The office locator is also part of the Know Who database.

18 Clients and projects: how to find information on clients
Client explorer allows you to find work done for clients, by service line and industry in the 9 countries that provide an automated feed from their local finance systems to Corporate finance. You can also access the global client dashboard, client sites and the industry sites from here. .

19 Global client sites: how to find global client information
Use Global client explorer to find the work done in the 60+ global clients – this data is collected quarterly from all countries by Corporate finance. You can find case studies and account plans. Global industry sites can be accessed here. More global client information and global client sites will be added shortly.

20 Ask the experts Use Ask the experts for information that you cannot find elsewhere. Make a new request using the request button on the site. The editor refers to the relevant experts, e.g. an individual, service line leaders networks, industry sector expert or country client co-ordinators. The requester receives communications direct from the experts. Responses are captured and stored in the knowledge base for future reference - viewed by using the left hand navigator.
