To express our wishes, feelings, likes, dislikes, and ideas.
To change our worlds:

“Hey, did you hear…”
To share knowledge.
To set down learning.
To store knowledge for future generations.
To learn about experiences we’d otherwise never have.

Communication through symbols which are arranged based on a set of rules (grammar).
