3. Overview of Title I
Title I is a federal program that serves to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education, and reach, at minimum, proficiency on state academic achievement standards and state academic assessments. 1% Set-Aside: A minimum of one percent of our school’s Title I allotment must be used for the purpose of increasing parental involvement.

4. Parental Involvement
Parents help create, implement, and evaluate the school’s plans

Two parents serve on the Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) Committee

5. Parental Rights and Responsibilities

Title I Allotment: - $385,619 Base: $379,646 – Parenting $5,973 Expenditures Include: Personnel – Reading Intervention Teacher, Math Intervention Teacher, Graduation Coach, Attendance Paraprofessional, Parent Organizer, LPN and Retract Manager Extended Day Services Classroom Instructional Supplies Professional Development
