stimulates liver to secrete growth factors protein synthesis, cell division/growth, breakdown fats Thyroid-stimulating Hormone (TSH) cause thyroid gland to secrete thyroxine Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH) target adrenal cortex regulate glucorticoid production

3 Pancreas Insulin Glucagon lower glucose level in blood
promotes formation of glycogen in liver Glucagon raise glucose level in blood by changing glycogen in liver into glucose

4 Adrenal Medulla Epinephrine and norepinephrine
aka adrenaline and noradrenaline, both for short term stress response and acts quickly in body fight or flight response

5 Thyroid Thyroxine (T4) Calcitonin increase metabolism rate
regulate growth and development Calcitonin directed at bones and kidneys to lower calcium level in blood limiting calcium released from bones and reabsorb calcium by kidneys
