“Teaching the ABCs for child and adolescent mental health” CAMHS multi-agency universal training programme Sue Francis CAMHS Trainer/Facilitator need/getting risk support need/getting more help 3 parts to the CAMHS learner journey. Part 1 - Mental health is an everyday business. This half-day course provides skills and tools for undertaking supportive conversations that help build resilience against trauma that risks emotional well-being e.g. bullying, stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties and low mood. This is the first of a series of three face-to-face CAMHS training sessions that build on the new Universal CAMHS core competencies e-learning. It replaces the former ‘Child and Adolescent Mental Health Attachment and Resilience’ course. 3 Offer for Mental Health Champions
Taster training to inform the Senior Leadership Team and support access by their colleagues in the wider workforce. Support to improve access to universal level learning and development Positive Mental Health approaches helping practitioners in the wider school environment think differently, encourage engagement and think of more ways to help Roll-out of Resilience Passport following the Pilot to support whole school approaches The offer of collaboration with schools was to help the MHCs reach the wider workforce in terms of their role in the mental well-being of pupils. The CAMHS universal programme offers to provide support to the leaders to make their role in supporting the wider workforce easier.
