2. Project Background
The purpose of this project is to select a location for the educational center at Blandy Farm. This year we visited Blandy Farm 2 times, we did experiments, historical significance, and walked around the property.

3. 1940’s Research Greenhouse
I think the 1940’s research greenhouse is the best place for the educational center because it has native plants to catch the runoff, it already has roads and electricity, and will be unused after the new greenhouse is constructed. FInally this building is in horrible condition and could fall down at any minute.

4. Environmental Literacy
Not near Lake Georgette so will not affect water quality much

5. Historical Significance
There is no historical significance. The site is not connected to a famous person, event, or important artifact.

6. Bus Parking Lot
I think the bus parking lot would be the next best location for the educational center because it has roads and electricity, it is only used twice a year for 2 events, and the animals and plants at Blandy don’t need the bus parking lot for food and habitats.

9. Conclusion
In conclusion, I’ve decided the 1940’s research greenhouse would be the best place to build the educational center because the runoff will be absorbed by native plants, Blandy will not be using it after the new greenhouse is built, and finally there is already electricity and roads to the greenhouse. However if the location is unavailable the bus parking lot would be the next best location for the educational center because it has roads and electricity, it is easy to access, animals and plants don’t use it as food or habitats, and finally it is only used twice a year for 2 events.
