The Planning Division continually strives to improve the permitting process. Some of improvements for the oil and gas program have been developed in response to community recommendations, staff obtaining access to better technology and resources, regulatory changes and staff-identified opportunities for improvement. Program improvements are on-going and we encourage the operators and community to continue to provide their feedback on the oil and gas program.
