2 Ethos, Pathos and Logos Aristotle’s "ingredients for persuasion"
– otherwise known as "appeals" – are known by the names of ethos, pathos, and logos. They are all means of persuading others to take a particular point of view.

5 Essay Plan INTRODUCTION PARAGRAPH (H.A.T.):
Make it short and snappy. BODY PARAGRAPHS (SSMM/SExXY): Logical Argument-Backed up with facts. Clarified with analogy. Use concrete language and sound confident. Answering Counter-Arguments- Use facts, common sense, real-life examples. Emotional Arguments-Backed up with real-life examples and quotes. A passionate belief with striking language is important but always base your argument in logic and emphasize with emotion. Ethical Arguments-Use commonly accepted beliefs that talk about right and wrong to give an ethical perspective.
