8. EWD Mission Statement
The mission of the NACOG-EWD is to build economic success through workforce development partnerships.

9. NACOG-EWD Programs Economic Development Workforce Development
Funded through the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA), assigns NACOG region as the Economic Development District (EDD) for our 4 counties.
An EDD is a designated planning district funded to provide technical assistance for grant application assembly, economic studies and strategic planning.
Workforce Development
Funded through the U.S. Department of Labor, NACOG is contracted through the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors to administer the Workforce Innovation & Opportunities Act (WIOA) programs for Yavapai County.
WIOA provides the opportunity to more closely align the services of workforce investment programs, education and economic development systems.

NACOG is designated as Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) Operator for Yavapai County

12. Yavapai Local Workforce Development Board
Workforce Development is led by our Yavapai Local Workforce Development Board (LWDB).
Privately led Board is responsible for planning, One-Stop oversight, customer satisfaction.
The local WDB has demonstrated a strong commitment to workforce development in Yavapai County for decades with many tenured members representing major businesses and industry in the County.

Seamless services-continue to grow our One-Stop to allow easy access to products and services.
