Storage for minerals such as Calcium and Phosphorus
Formation of blood cells in the red marrow of certain bones

Communication between body functions

Regulates body temperature

Nose, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi, lungs, alveoli

Exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide
Irritants removed
Regulates acid-base balances

12. Digestive System
Organs - esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, liver, gallbladder, pancreas
Functions:
Proper digestion of food
Absorb nutrients
Eliminate solid waste

13. Urinary System Kidneys, ureter, bladder, urethra Functions:
Clean blood
Maintain acid-base, electrolyte, and water balances
