video games have changed society. For twenty years screens (TVs and Film in particular) were passive relationships.
Then, suddenly you could control what's on the screen from a little box!?
Using new tools allow students to use gaming skills- they relate to that. When they see themselves in this experience in the classroom, learning becomes relevant.

Most of the time, frustration is because of a lack of interest and engagement.
The one thing we all know that we need in each lesson is student engagement.
Along with sound instructional practices, engagement will drive student achievement.
We can all pretty much agree that if we have those two things, students will learn.

Though our teachers do need new tools to use, it is still the teacher that makes the difference. Those teachers that understand the value in these tools will be more successful with today’s student.
