2. MAKING ADJECTIVES FEMININE
To make Adjectives feminine:
Most of the time add an “e” to the word to make it feminine
Grand - > grande
Intelligent ->intelligente
Do NOT add an “e” if the adjective already ends in an E
Jeune -> jeune
Mince ->mince
EUX always changes to euse in the feminine
Parasseux -> parasseuse
IF always changes to ive in the feminine
Créatif -> créative

3. Irregular feminine forms
Long – longue (long)
Blanc – blanche (white)
Bon – bonne (good)
Gros – grosse (fat)
Gentil – gentille (kind/nice)
Mignon – mignonne (cute)

4. Making adjectives plural
To make adjectives plural add a ‘s’ to the end of either the masculine or feminine form
Do not add a ‘s’ if the adjective ends in s or x
EXAMPLES
Grand -> grands
Grande -> grandes
Gros
sérieux

5. SOME ADJECTIVES NEVER CHANGE

Chic
Fashionable
Orange
Marron
brown

6. ADJECTIVE PLACEMENT
Adjective go after the nouns unless they describe BAGS. If they describe bags they go in front of the noun
