HV: where we are I.N.F.N. Naples High Voltage: The power supply tender has been assigned to the CAEN; A complete prototype will be delivered in Sept 04 and will be test in Naples using the RB3 chamber that is working in Naples in the cosmic test station. The” small” 4-polar cables (from chamber to patch panel) have been delivered at CERN; The “big” multi-conductors cables tender has to be redone as soon as possible; The tripolar and coaxial connectors have been delivered to Naples; A first HV distributor prototype has been build in Naples. Now is under test; A first HV patch panel is almost ready; 11/12/2018 Pierluigi Paolucci - I.N.F.N. Naples

Conclusions I.N.F.N. Naples The reduced schema for both the barrel and endcap detectors has been chosen for the HV and the LV system: Keep the DT-RPC ground schema (crucial point); Have independent voltage for every chamber. The Barrel HV tender has been assigned to the CAEN: Prototype ready in Sept 2004; We have an official quotation for the LV system; We will order the barrel LV system at the end of the 2004: T Probes have been installed on the chamber at ISR; CAEN is working on an ADC prototype with 128 channels; A first DCS software prototype has been developed in Naples A second one will be ready for december 2004 and will be tested in Naples with the HV ad LV prototype. 11/12/2018 Pierluigi Paolucci - I.N.F.N. Conclusion I.N.F.N. Naples We want to begin the “procedure” to order the HV-LV hardware in the 2003 we are still waiting for a final LV cost…for CMS. If we can save money from the LV budged (as we hope) we will use them to upgrade the HV system to the chamber solution that is our goal. The topology of the HV-LV system is now well defined and so we are ready for asking a cable PRR we are just collecting all necessary documentations Before the end of this year we start tenders this implies to know exactly total lengths cable path (to be approved very soon) 11/12/2018 Pierluigi Paolucci - I.N.F.N.
