2 Where was he born? He was born on February 22, 1732 in Westmoreland County, Virginia He was the oldest of his parent’s, Mary Ball and Augustin Washington, children.

3 How many presidents came before him?
Since George Washington was the first of the line of Presidents there were none before him.

4 Who was his vice president?
George Washington selected John Adams as his vice president, the man who would later become the second President of the United States of America. John Adams, like George Washington, served from 1797 to 1801.

5 What were the years that he served
George Washington was President from April 30th, March 4rd, Although he did not wish to be elected for the second term, he felt it his duty to allow himself to be a candidate for the people to vote upon. His second term ended just short with the death of the American Hero.

6 What was his political party?
From 1797 to 1801 the Republican and Democratic Party did not exist, instead they had the Federalist Party and the Republican Party. The Republican Party was not the Republican Party that we have today, as that party was founded in The Federalist Party was a party made up of Federalists, while the Republican Party was mainly made up of Anti-Federalists George Washington never officially joined a party, however he supported the programs of the Federalist Party.

7 What were the events that occurred during his presidency
Most of the major events occurred before his presidency (The American Revolution) Rhode Island ratified the Constitution U.S Capital moves to Philadelphia Congress passes the United States’ first naturalization law, establishing terms of citizenship

8 What were his achievements
He helped the Americans win the Revolutionary War He trained the Continental Army to be able to defeat the British at valley forge He established a federal government He joined the states together early in his presidency
