4. End of the 9 Weeks Procedures - Teachers
Enter in Required Assessments
(Effort/ Conduct /Comments)
Verify attendance data
Enter Overwrite codes as necessary: I, NG, NC
NG – For a blank 9-week grade. You may need a comment code to accompany.
NC – For the Subject Grade override (secondary schools only)
Run the Grade Verification Report
View summary grades, attendance totals and Required Assessments for a class

5. Entering in Midterm Exams
Log on to the Gradebook
select the class tab
Click on the 1st Semester Exam (Midterm) tab at the bottom
Click the New… link
Create as many assignments as necessary

6. Overriding Final Grade – Semester Classes (Secondary Schools)
ONLY IF NECESSARY !!
Uploaded in 2nd & 4th 9-weeks
Override the Subject Grade
Change results column to view Subject Grade
Override the blank
Leave others alone
Switch back to current 9-weeks
Click Here 

7. End of the 9 Weeks Procedures - GBM
Run Missing Data Report
Report gets shorter when approaching grade reporting
Notify teachers if necessary
Upload Grades

9. Merging – Term 2 Classes Term 2 classes created automatically
Classes will clean (no grades/attendance)
Classes can be merged with existing classes (Options  Sections tab)
Avoid mistakes – Use proper base class (the class with grades and attendance)
No changes to grade templates once assignments have been entered.

12. Student Explorer - Overview
Available to anyone with Principal Viewer rights.
View Grade and Attendance similar to Parent Internet Viewer (PIV)
Drills down to individual assignments

13. Student Explorer - Student Search
Select the student for which you wish to see grades

14. Student Explorer - Viewing Grades
To View grades for a different subject, use the drop-down feature under the Class Reports section.

15. Administrative Reports
Print any ARV report (i.e. Interim Reports or Missing Data Report) right from within the Gradebook.

Print the Dade Interim Reports from here just as you would from the Administrative Reports Viewer without ever leaving the Gradebook.

18. Daily Reason (Day) Column
Changes to a student’s Daily Reason (ODSA), will automatically update the Day column in Gradebook.
Populates to all classes the student is scheduled for
No waiting for the daily bulletins
Teachers still need to take regular class attendance.
E, I, O, and S codes are EXCUSED ABSENCES
