SOLUTION
In collaboration with Microsoft, Excelian built a platform on top of the scalable cloud infrastructure of Microsoft Azure. Grid as a Service enables financial services customers to create a compute grid, deploy an application that includes its own data, execute high performance computing calculations, and then turn off the infrastructure. This is achieved through a simple set of representational state transfer (REST) services that are packaged in an application programming interface (API), which allows customers to integrate Grid as a Service with their on-premises solutions.
