1 Cisco Prime LMS for Simplified Deployment of Borderless Networks Services

2 Borderless Networks Services Supported
Cisco TrustSec® Identity Use authentication, access control, and user policies to secure network connectivity and resources Smart Install Implement plug-and-play configuration and image management for zero-touch deployment for new devices Cisco EnergyWise™ Measure, manage, and reduce the power consumption of network infrastructure and network-attached devices to increase cost savings Medianet Build end-to-end architecture for multimedia experience in the network Auto Smartports Dynamically configure ports based on the device type detected on the port using Auto Smartports macros

3 Deployment of Cisco EnergyWise

4 Why Energy Management? Reduced Costs Compliance Environmental
Reduce energy consumption and cost Measurable return on investment (ROI) Comply with government regulations Reduce greenhouse gas emissions Increase sustainability

5 Cisco EnergyWise Deployment Challenges
Lack of visibility into network readiness to support Cisco EnergyWise™ in enterprise environment Complex and manual set up process for: Cisco EnergyWise domains Roles, importance, and key words No reporting mechanism or dashboards to provide power and cost savings information

6 Cisco EnergyWise and Cisco Prime LMS
Address These Challenges Assess Network Readiness Prepare Your Network Monitor Savings and Reports
