4 Mission Statement To provide compassionate loving support to the terminally ill in a peaceful, comfortable home setting while caring for the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of our guests and their families. This will be the beginning slide to discuss our direction We are being lead by divine intervention as we truly have passion and desire, but little to no experience. We have been lead this far and we have faith that this will unfold exactly as it is supposed to.

5 Guest Arrangements Any person with a terminal diagnosis, particularly in the last months of illness, and in Hospice care.  People of all religious, social and financial backgrounds are welcome with priority given to  those in greatest need.  We believe it is best for people to die in the comfort of their own home but, for many reasons, some people cannot. For individuals in those situations, family-like care will be provided in our home.

6 Compassionate Volunteers
Volunteers are the heart and sole of this organization. They provide loving comfort and care to our guests 24 hours a day. Direct patient care volunteers will assist with all activities of daily living, companionship, social support and listening. Support staff volunteers will assist in many different areas including, but not limited to cleaning, assisting with meals, maintenance, office work, bookkeeping and marketing. We will engage the family as much as possible and guide them to providing for their loved one. When this is not possible we will have volunteers who will assist our guests. We hope to engage nursing students from area colleges to volunteer their services. This will be beneficial for the students and the guests and families.

7 Funding/Support All maintenance and operating expenses are dependent on the generous donations from many. Individuals Civic Organizations Religious Communities Corporate Donations Fundraising/Annual Events Grants Memorial contributions Matching Gifts Discuss responsible spending! We will be good stewards of peoples generous donations. In a world that is often darkened by greed and corruption we will be vigilant and responsible spenders. Mention other similar homes – Mother Theresa strictly operates on individual donations, no fund raising, other organizations have events to build relationships with the community and donors. We will consider

8 Our Needs Going Forward
A home Furnishings Endowment Fund A large group of volunteers Financial support Guests Community support Continued collaboration with local Organizations Prayer This is a list of our current needs. It has always been our belief that we are not in control of this project, we are completely confident that when the time is right we will be provided with each and everyone of our needs. We have faith that it will all work out exactly as it is supposed to . We believe this life is a beautiful journey and each individual that touches the Compassion Home will enrich the lives of our guests and families, but also volunteers will be forever impacted by those we are privileged to serve.
