ex. Shakespeare, Shakespearean performer Russian, Russian stew Nationalities and races: Japanese, Caucasian Brand names: Wonder bread, Crest toothpaste Geographical names: Greensboro, the Middle East, the Rockies, Atlantic Ocean, Organizations, businesses, historical events, ships, planes, trains, monuments, etc.

3 D. Do not capitalize school subjects except for languages and course names followed by a number ex. French, art, Algebra I, history E. Capitalize titles ex. Dr. Sanchez, President Obama, Things Fall Apart, American Idol, etc.

4 F. Capitalize religions, their followers, holy days, and specific deities (gods) ex. Christianity, Muslim, Easter, Koran, Allah, God, the Greek god Poseidon
