5. Function 1: Expert Mode iOS Android
The Expert Mode:
It is designed for engraving large items or materials unfit for cubiio shield.
If you wish to work without the base or work with cubiio alone, please switch on Expert Mode.

6. Function 2: Working Alarm
Cubiio will play beep sound while laser is in operation, which can be switched on/ off in advanced setting page.
The beep sound is set to be on by default due to safety concern, and will be automatically reactivated after closing the APP.

9. Adjust Central Position:

Incorrect specification of power supply could lead to misalignment of laser emission center, and
switch on “Adjust Central Position” to realign.
* It can only function properly with APP version or later.

Start Auto-Adjusting
5-3 Go to “Adjust Central Position/Auto-Adjust” page, enter your safety code to turn on laser pointer, and select “Start Auto-Adjusting.” Click “Next” after the process completes.
* Click “Done” at the top right corner.
(Or you can slightly adjust the central position of laser dot manually with the control panel.)

11. FAQ Q1: Cubiio pop up alert shows “Internal Error.”

Q1: Cubiio pop up alert shows “Internal Error.”
A1: Cubiio will stop working immediately when detecting unstable power current. Please make sure to supply cubiio with 5V 2A current to prevent unpredictable situation.
Q2: Cubiio APP stuck on Home page and showing “Check State.”
A2: Unstable signal transmission could cause longer time to establish connection, restart your cubiio and APP, and then try again. If it is still not working, please restart your mobile.
Q3: How to dismount cubiio from cubiio shield for repairing ?
A3: According to Laser Class 1’s requirement, cubiio is attached to cubiio shield with an security torx screw for safety concern. If you wish to dismount cubiio from cubiio shield, use a T10H (T10 with hole) or a 2.4mm slothead screwdriver to remove the torx on top, then use a larger slothead (or coin) to unscrew the cradle head. It is strongly advised that user should familiarize operating with cubiio shield first before operating without it. DO NOT dismount cubiio by force.
