Hi thank you for coming to see our presentation about birds and insects. My name is Shelley and this is Dale and Andrew accompanied by Ryan Moir. We are going to tell you about some of the birds and insects that can be found in the rainforest. I hope you will enjoy it and learn some interesting information.

2 Introduction The rainforest provides birds and insects with a rich source of food. Scientists believe that there are many undiscovered species also living in the rainforest. The rainforest provides birds and insects with a rich source of food. Birds can be mainly found in the canopy layer of trees as this is where plants, fruits, berries can grow. This is because the trees in the canopy layer get the sunlight. Insects can be mainly found on the forest floor. They live as scavengers, eating dead leaves and other debris on the forest floor. Some flying insects can be found in the canopy or in the fur of other animals. Scientists believe that there are many undiscovered species also living in the rainforest. Scientists are continually finding new species.
