6 Each unit has 3 sections

7 Each section has 5-8 parts. They are alphabetical order.

8 You will do these assignments.

9 There are mainly 4 types of assignments:
Japanese alphabets (hiragana/katakana/kanji) – hand writing assignments You need to print the worksheets and practice the letters at least 5 times each. If you don’t have a printer, you may use a sheet of paper. But, you must practice the letters by hand.

11 You can click here to get the worksheets. You print them out and practice the letters (at least 5 times each). OR Just use a piece of paper and write the letters 5 times each. Take a photo(s) and Upload them from here.

12 There are mainly 4 types of assignments:
Discussion You can see what other students wrote. You can also leave comments for them.

13 Click “Start a New Thread” to leave your assignment.

14 There are mainly 4 types of assignments:
Oral/speaking Many students record their oral assignments into their phone, save, send the file to themselves. Then, click the “upload”......

15 There are mainly 4 types of assignments:
4. Others You will do your assignments on a “Word” document or on a piece of paper. If you use a piece of paper, you take a picture of it. You upload your assignment to submit.

16 There is a quiz after each section.
You also need to take all of the TPR (listening) quizzes. Then, take an unit exam and move to the next unit! At the end of each semester, there is a semester exam. And…..you are DONE and receive a half credit!

17 1. If you don’t like your grades, you can re-submit your assignments up to 3 times. For Discussion Assignments, I need to delete your first (second) post and you need to redo it. If you didn't do well on your section quiz, you can re-take the quiz up to 3 times. Once you take the unit exam, you cannot go back and re do your assignments. You cannot retake unit exams. However, if you had any technical problems, let me know!
