8 Absolute Value? What is Absolute Value? Absolute value of a number is the DISTANCE from ZERO or origin.Absolute value of a number is the DISTANCE from ZERO or origin. Distance cannot be negative, so the absolute value cannot be negative. The absolute value of any number will always be positive
