Is it limited in any way? The setting? The task? The sample?

3. Reliability
If this piece of research was replicated would you get the same or very similar results?
Has is been standardised?
Are the controls clearly described?

4. Application Is this piece of research USEFUL?
Does it have real world application?
Who benefits from the results or conclusion of this research?

5. Validity
Does this research actually measure what it set out to measure ?
Were there any obvious confounding variables?

6. Ethics Is the research ethical?
Does it breach any of the ethical guidelines laid down by the BPS/APS
