Quiz Procedures There will be no talking or distractions during tests or quizzes, from the first test down to the last test up. If distractions occur, two warnings will be given, on the third instance the test will be taken and graded as a zero, and student will be logged as cheating. If you finish early, after you check your work you may silently begin work on another assignment. If more than 15 minutes late, you will have to schedule a time to make it up after school.
12
Folder Activity The Goal: I need to put up Daily Work Folders (Monday – Friday) along the wall near the door. These will hold extra worksheets so if you miss a day you can just go to the folder for the day you missed and pick up your work. The Problem: There are 5 folders, and 4 boards. How can we put them up so they are evenly spaced? The Rules: Each group must develop a method/strategy to determine the correct spacing using only the materials provided and without using guess and check. The Product: A poster presentation of the strategies your group tried and a proposal of how you will correctly space the folders.
