New procedures for improving the efficiency, accuracy and robustness of the system reliability analysis in the context of the FORM will be introduced in the presentation. Numerical examples will be presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodologies. 报告人简介 (About the Speaker) : Dr. Zhou graduated from Tongji University in 1993 with a Bachelor degree in building engineering, from Tsinghua University in 1996 with a Master degree in structural engineering, and from the University of Western Ontario in 2001 with a PhD in structural engineering. He had extensive industry experience prior to joining the University of Western Ontario in 2009, at which he is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering. His main research interests are structural integrity management of oil and gas pipelines with a special focus on reliability and risk assessments. 欢迎教师和学生参加! All interested are welcome!
