On average, school breakfast participation rises to more than 70% when schools implement a Breakfast after the Bell model versus 30% with a traditional model that serves breakfast in the cafeteria before school starts.

Taking attendance followed by social talk time, then independent reading, and equal amount of read aloud and morning meeting

13. Our Accomplishments
Since 2014, MT No Kid Hungry has awarded grants to over $300,000 in privately funded grants to over 80 schools that have pledged to start a breakfast after the bell program.
There are now more than 150 schools across Montana that have made breakfast a part of the school day.
