Represents a “perfect” action – one that has been completed Future Perfect tense is an action that began in the past and will be completed in the future

Basic formula to form perfect tense Perfect Stem + Future Perfect Endings Future Perfect Endings = Future tense of sum Perfect Stem formed by removing the “i” from the 3rd P.P. Amo, amāre, amavi, amatus – a, um amavi (-) “i”  amav- Perfect Stem = amav-

5 Forming the Perfect Stem
Find the present stem for the following verbs Libero, liberāre, liberavi, liberatus – a, um Mereo, merēre, merui, meritus – a, um Teneo, tenēre, tenui, tentus– a, um

6 Future Perfect Endings
Singular -ero (I) -eris (you) -erit (he, she, it) Plural -erimus (we) -eritis (y’all) -erint (they)
