MOC On-Demand & Packaged Sets Redemption Process

MOC On-Demand Now Available
MOC On-Demand Only SATV Redemption (does not includes services) MOC On-Demand Only 2 SATV Days IMPORTANT: Student must redeem the MOC On-Demand Voucher code and must be entered into the SAVB system in order to be eligible for payment. OR Packaged Set SATV Redemption (includes all services) NOTE: Student must redeem the DMOC license code (MOC On-Demand voucher ineligible for payment) and must be entered into the SAVB system in order to be eligible for payment. MOC On-Demand First, let’s discuss timing for MOC On-Demand in SATV. MOC On-Demand is now available in SATV. Now let’s talk about how MOC On-Demand fits in SATV. Since you have the choice to either provide MOC On-Demand with or without services, the first option is payment through SATV without services. What this means is that you will get 2 SATV days for MOC On-Demand and you will be able to charge the customer for additional services. What those services are and what the cost of those services is, is up to you. You just cannot collect SATV days to pay for those services. In order to be paid the 2 SATV days for MOC On-Demand, it will work the same as Digital MOC. The customer will need to redeem the MOC On-Demand voucher in order for you to get paid in the SATV system, same as with DMOC. On the contrary to MOC On-Demand only our packaged sets provide you 5 SATV days for redemption and include services. This means when you provide the customer their packaged set, whatever additional services you include, whether it be a full classroom delivery, 1:1 Mentoring, 1:Many mentoring or any other services, those services are included and you cannot charge the customer for any additional services. In order to get paid for your packaged set, you only redeem the DMOC license code and whatever the amount of days is associated with the DMOC is the amount of SATV days you will get paid. In most cases this will be 5 SATV days, but since we do have some DMOC courses that are only 3 days, those would only provide you 3 SATV days. As an example, course is a 5 day course, yet is a 3 day course. So, you would receive 5 days for course 10747, but only 3 days for The MOC On-Demand license will not be eligible to be redeemed for SATV days that are part of a packaged set, so you will need to again make sure the student redeems the DMOC license prior to being able to be paid. Packaged Set Redemption: Step 1
The next screenshots show how to reserve, redeem and request payment for a packaged set Go to and click Sign In

Click Training Voucher Administration

Click Validate/Reserve Voucher

Enter the Voucher number in the provided field Enter the corporate address of the trainee at the customer organization who was assigned the training voucher at the time of voucher creation Note: This information will be included in the Voucher Confirmation that the customer trainee received after the voucher was created and assigned Then click Validate Voucher: Note: If the Voucher has expired, been used, or is already ‘Reserved’ by another Partner, an error message will appear at the top of the page in red. 8

On the next screen, enter the Course Number for the SATV-eligible course the customer-trainee wishes to take. Note: Enter the Digital MOC course number that is part of the packaged set. DO NOT ENTER the MOC On-Demand Course number Click “Populate Course Details” and verify the course information that is auto-populated Enter the Course Start Date and Course End Date. Confirm that the Course End Date is prior to the Voucher Expiration Date. Enter your “Cancel By” date Click Reserve Voucher Your customer will automatically be notified that the Training Voucher has been reserved You’ll also have the option to send an confirmation to yourself or others, or view a printer friendly version of the confirmed reservation 9

Distribute the license key for the digital MOC and MOC On-Demand code to the student in the normal way 10

Packaged Set Proof of Delivery
The SATV program requires proof of service delivery to the customer. Providing the Digital MOC license number associated with the packaged set is accepted as proof of delivery. The MOC On-Demand license is invalid as proof of delivery. Please note: The customer must have redeemed the Digital MOC license number to be valid for payment and proof of delivery Provides Training Validates & Reserves Redeems & Provides MOC/DMOC Invoice – Request Payment Must provide DMOC License # AND DMOC license MUST be Redeemed (MOC OD NOT VALID) Partner Process How: When submitting an invoice, proof of purchase with the Digital MOC license number is required. Impact: If the Digital MOC license has not been redeemed by the customer, the payment request will be invalid.

The next screenshots show how to request payment for a packaged set A Global Administrator must log into At the log-in page you will be required to input your Microsoft account associated with your organization to gain access.

Note: If you have registered for more than one program in SAVB, you will be taken to the My Incentives Home Page when accessing The My Incentives Home page is a summary of the CHIP programs (SAVB, SIP, etc.) and sub-programs in which your Organization has registered. In this screenshot, the user is associated to two Organizations, “Contoso” and “Company 1 Org” Both Organizations have been registered for SAVB Company 1 has registered DDPS, L&EDPS, and SATV Contoso has registered for L&EDPS and SATV. Select the program you need to work in from the list shown

From your program Home Page, click on the “Create Payment Request” link located in the “I Need To…” menu in the right zone of the page. Using the voucher Search Criteria filters to narrow your voucher selection: Select the Country for your payment request. Note: You can only select one country. Redeemed vouchers from Locations in different countries cannot be combined on the same payment request. Select the Locations to view your redeemed vouchers. Select the Payment Profile that maps to the location(s) you want to view. This is the payment profile for which payment will be made for the Location(s) included in the payment request. Select the Tax Jurisdiction that correctly applies to your country and locations Click “Search” In this example: The Partner Organization in this screenshot is “Contoso” with locations in the US and Canada. The User (located at the organization’s HQ in the US), is submitting payment requests (invoices) for the Canada locations. The User has selected the country “Canada” to search vouchers for all Canada locations.

Packaged Set Request Payment (Invoice) – Digital MOC: Step 4
Create Payment Request by Adding Vouchers one at a time by clicking “Add” (which then turns to “Remove”)

Select Courseware Format by choosing “Digital” MOC

Input the respective License No. (Digital MOC) – The license ID is a 16 digit code. Note: These numbers can be copied and pasted even if containing hyphens.

Fill out the invoice number and tax fields (as needed for your region) and then select “Submit” at the bottom of the page. When the box appears, select “OK”.

Packaged Set - Helpful Hints (How to Purchase)
Select “Microsoft Learning Products” option on the top navigation bar. Select “Packaged Sets” option from the side navigation bar. Select the relevant Packaged Set from the list of available sets

Packaged Set - Helpful Hints (How to Purchase)
Add the selected Packaged Set to the Shopping Cart “Check out” from the shopping cart and follow the normal 5 step process to purchase the selected Packaged Set.

Packaged Set - Helpful Hints (Post Purchase)
Select “My Account” option from the top navigation bar. Select “Digital Library” the side navigation bar This will give the option to share the digital license for the digital MOC component of the purchased Packaged Set Select “Share” to distribute the digital MOC license key component of the purchased Packaged Set This is the course number you will use to reserve and redeem an SATV voucher as part of a packaged set

The Management Dashboard will open in a new tab and display the License for dMOC. This is the license number you will use to request payment (invoice) an SATV voucher as part of a packaged set

MOC On-Demand Redemption: Steps 1-4
The next screenshots show how to request payment for a MOC On-Demand that is NOT part of a packaged set MOC On-Demand Redemption Steps 1-4, are the same as Packaged Set Redemption

MOC On-Demand Redemption: Step 5
On the next screen, enter the Course Number for the SATV-eligible course the customer-trainee wishes to take.
