Clanwilliam developed eScript, a prescription e-notification service aimed at pharmacies and consumers. In selecting a hosting platform for eScript it needed a highly reliable and secure solution that would scale dynamically and cost effectively with the application. SOLUTION
Clanwilliam chose Microsoft Azure as the eScript platform. eScript runs on Azure Web Apps, SQL Server and Service Bus. These services are inherently flexible and dynamically scale up and down based on application workload. The services are hosted in a highly resilient and secure Microsoft data center in Dublin. Clanwilliam carried out independent security testing to ensure eScript data is protected at all times. For its Microsoft-focused technology, team building on Azure has been relatively easy and Clanwilliam gets fantastic support and advice from local and global Microsoft teams.
