It empowers each seller to configure, generate and close the service contract requested by the customer, within minutes, without having to obtain additional approvals.

4  Cost of these transactions is too high 
Problem Statement Small transactions comprise a large pool of opportunity for ITS sales Small transactions are a large percentage of ITS sales Majority of opportunities are under $100K Vast majority of opportunities are under $500K For sales under $100K, document preparation elapsed time ranges from 2 to 10 business days per transaction  Cost of these transactions is too high 

5  Small transactions create bottlenecks in the sales process 
Root Causes Lack of offering standardization Majority of small transactions treated as “one of a kind” or custom jobs Custom job approach frequently raises BTT rating and introduces additional approvals required ITS sales channels have been trained to provide the prospect exactly what they want Introduces negotiations process over terms and conditions Lengthens the sales process Current sales tools do not support standardized approach ServicePac® is an exception that can teach valuable lessons  Small transactions create bottlenecks in the sales process 

14 New Contract: Offerings details
You can view the Offerings Details for a country. The countries that are available to you will be listed in the Country dropdown menu. These countries were selected by you when you registered to use S2. Next, let’s look at View Offerings catalog.

15 New Contract: View Offerings Catalog
When you choose View Offerings catalog the Offerings Catalog popup window is displayed. The information is filtered by the country you previously selected and by your role. The catalog shows configured and non-configured products. S2 shows list prices in your country’s currency for configured products. It shows N/A in the list price column for configured products because their list price depends on the configuration you produce in e-config.

16 New Contract – Offerings details (cont’d)
First you need to select from Product Selection: Manual from S2 list boxes Upload of e-Config CFReport Quote data from e-Pricer Contracts Repository Note: The system defaults to Manual from S2 list boxes. We will explore the other options later in this presentation. Next you will need to select a Contract Type, if it is not pre-selected, based on your role and country settings, You can choose between Direct or Prime Bidder Then you will need to enter the End customer Number. This is the legacy CMR (Customer Master Record) number for the customer.

17 New Contract – Offerings details (cont’d)
Now you will add an offering selecting the following information: - Brand/SPL - Offering name - Spec. 1 - Spec. 2 (if necessary) Once your selections are complete, click Go.

18 New Contract The information you have selected is compiled and your New Contact screen will look like the image to the right. The Offering Details area will list the information you entered. The Selected Offerings area lists the order information. You will add the quantity to the Qty field. You then select Add Item Go To Cart to continue.

19 My Cart The My Cart page is displayed.
The cart shows the offering you selected along with the IBM minimum delegation amount There are four options available to continue: - Update Selected - Remove selected - Add new offering(s) This allows you to add new offerings. Note: Do not use New Contract to add new offerings; you will lose the data that is currently stored. - Generate contract This option will take you to the Checkout page. For this presentation Generate contract is selected.

20 New Contract: Checkout
The Checkout window is displayed. This screen and the next will show the details of the Checkout window. The fields whose headers have a red asterisk [*] are mandatory. Proposal reference This is your own identifier for the proposal. It’s an example of a mandatory field. Reusable contract You have an option to determine whether this is a reusable contract. This means that when a contract is finalized, S2 saves it in its contract repository in a format that allows you to retrieve it, edit it, and reuse it. It will be listed by the proposal reference that you have entered (see above). User group Is a new function and is addressed later in this presentation. Note: Some data on the Checkout page may be read-only. The end customer number is always read-only. Other fields may be read-only data based on your country’s settings. Once you have filled in the mandatory fields and have reviewed this page, you have the following options: Return to Cart Preview Contract: An option that lets you see the contract with a draft watermark. Not intended for final use. Finalize Contract: This is not a draft. It contains a contract number when you are ready to go forward. Note: Even a finalized contract will have a draft watermark If you generate it in the S2 User Acceptance Test (UAT) environment, Finalize Contract is selected for this presentation.

21 New Contract: Confirmation
The Confirmation page is the final page of S2 processing. It lets you view the contracts, in .pdf format, that S2 has processed. You can download these for attachments to s or later printing. Note: Contracts Online (COL) Information will only be displayed if your country has enabled it. If enabled, it allows you to put the data required to let S2 create a draft transaction in COL.

22 New Contract: Customer Contract
This screen shows the opened .pdf file displaying the Customer Contract.

23 Upload of e-Config CFReport
We’ve reviewed the flow for the first option under Product Selection. Next we’ll look at uploading an e-Config CFReport. You begin by selecting the Upload of e-Config CFReport option. Next enter the End customer number. Then click Load e-Config File.

24 Upload e-Config CFReport (cont’d)
When you choose Load e-Config File the Upload File window is displayed. The file upload allows you to transmit the configuration of service products that you defined in e-Config to S2. You can pick the e-Config (.cfr) file you wish to upload from your computer by either typing in the path and file or clicking Browse. Note: When you find the file, click Load to upload it.

25 Upload e-Config CFReport (cont’d)
As before, the My Cart window with the data from the .cfr file is displayed – including quantity and pricing. Again, there are four options available to continue: - Update selected - Remove selected - Add new offering(s) - Generate contract Next, we’ll look at the third option in the Production Selection: Quote data from e-Pricer

26 e-Pricer quote We’ve seen the first two options under Product Selection. The next option is Quote data from e-Pricer. This retrieves data from an approved e-Pricer quote such as products, approved prices, and customer data. After selecting Quote data from e-Pricer , you enter the e-Pricer Quote ID in the field and then click Go. When you click on Go, S2 builds your cart from the quote data and displays the My Cart page. Note: When you load an e-Pricer quote, Generate contract is the only option available from the My Cart page. An e-Pricer quote must be processed as is. The “Offer valid until” date of the quote must not have passed. All products and features must be enabled in S2. The contents of a cart built from an e-Pricer quote can’t be changed.

27 Contracts repository The fourth option for Product Selection is Contracts repository. First you select Contracts repository. Next enter the Customer number. Then click the Contract templates arrow for the dropdown menu and make a selection and then click Go. Note: Every type of contract (other than an e-Pricer one) will have two data fields: contract type and proposal reference. If it is an e-Pricer reusable contract you can’t input CMR number since the number comes from e-Pricer for a specific customer. Next, the My Cart page displays and from there select Generate Contract and go to Checkout. All the data you previously entered will be there – if you had previously edited it before, you can edit it again and vice versa. Next, we’ll look a the two other options in the navigation area: Previews Contracts

28 Previews and Contracts
There are two other options available via the navigation area. The Previews lets you view documents that have not been finalized. The Contracts option lets you access the contracts you have generated when you choose Finalize Contract.

29 User groups As previously mentioned in the presentation, the User group function is now available in S2. First you will need to register as a user group administrator (Group Admin). The data that you input is the same as for regular registration except that you need to input an identifier for your business group in the Secondary group ID field. After your registration request is processed, you sign in to S2 in the standard manner. You’ll see the Group admin role available for selection.

30 User groups - continued
Once you have selected the Group admin role you can view or begin adding a user group. First you will select User groups from the left navigation area. If you have previously created a user group it will be displayed and you can select and edit it. If you need to add a user group then you will select New user group from the left navigation area. For this presentation it is assumed you are adding an initial new user group. To add a user group you need to Select a country, add a User group name, add ID’s (according to the directions on the screen), and then click Save.

31 User groups - continued
