6. SUBSTATION CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE
Power Line Services provides complete substation services in construction, design/build and commissioning of high-voltage substations and related equipment. Our skilled substation technicians, combined with our fleet of specialized equipment for low-overhead clearances, provide construction services to utilities, municipalities, electric cooperatives and industrial customers for substations ranging from 0.4kV to 1200kV.

12. COMPLETED PROJECTS PROJECT - Cyprus PROJECT TYPE- SUBSTATION
DISCRIPTION - Below grade work to include conduit, foundation, grounding grid, cable trench, all excavation is Hydro, Top rock installation.
PROJECT - Turkey
DISCRIPTION - Construction of approximately 70 km of 500kV transmission line
PROJECT - Russia
DISCRIPTION- Expansion of 800kv substation into a 4 breaker ring bus. Foundation, grounding, conduit, cable trench, structures, equipment and bus work for substation.

13. COMPLETED PROJECTS PROJECT - Benin PROJECT TYPE- SUBSTATION
DISCRIPTION- Provide for the installations of foundations, steel structure, equipment, bus work, control cable, bellow and above grade grounding and conduit
PROJECT- Portugal
DISCRIPTION- Excavate and exploratory work with several specialized subcontractors to find the location of the fault on (2) 230kV underground HV cables. The lines both go from Gila Substation to Citgo Refinery under the Corpus Christi ship channel and are main feeds of power for Citgo.

14. COMPLETED PROJECTS PROJECT - Iraq PROJECT TYPE- SUBSTATION
DISCRIPTION- BKRs, (16) group operated air break SWs; (3) motorized, (15) 500kV CCVTs, (2) 500kV line
PROJECT- Kazakhstan
PROJECT TYPE- TRANSMISSION
DISCRIPTION- Replacement of 4.1 km of double and single circuit 138kV transmission line. Scope of work includes ROW access, ROW restoration, material receiving, material hauling, anchor bolt foundations, direct embeds, new 1590 ACSR conductor, 3/8" Static, conductor removal, and structure removal.
PROJECT- Russia
DISCRIPTION - Construct 150km of 345KV transmission line on steel monopoles with drilled pier foundations. Conductor is bundled 1590 with (1) 7#8 shield wire (1) OPGW

PROJECT TYPE- TRANSMISSION
DISCRIPTION- Restoration of RFS to West Tephlis 500kV Transmission Line.
PROJECT - Russia (Yamal)
DISCRIPTION- Construction of 100 km transmission line (1200kv)
PROJECT- Azerbaijan (cable way)
PROJECT TYPE- SUBSTATION
DISCRIPTION- Provide for the installations of foundations, steel structure, equipment, bus work, control cable, bellow and above grade grounding and conduit

16. COMPLETED PROJECTS PROJECT - Benin PROJECT TYPE- TRANSMISSION
DISCRIPTION- 120km OF 138Kv Transmission Line.
PROJECT- Russia
PROJECT TYPE-TRANSMISSION
DISCRIPTION- Rebuild 500kV transmission line using concrete monopoles and 959 ACSS. Includes installation of 6 anchor bold foundations with steel poles for use as self-supporting dead ends. Also replacing 35 km of static wire with a new 48 count OPGW.
PROJECT - Azerbaijan
DISCRIPTION- 11KV transmission line that will connect a new substation to the AEP system. It includes installing 4 direct imbed tangent structures and 2 steel dead end poles on foundation previously installed by others. The overall length of the job is less than 50 km.
