2 Exchange Parent Aide Study results show a link between Parent Aide services and: Mothers are less stressed, less depressed and less anxious Stronger parenting skills Reduced emotional aggression and physical assault of children

3 A new possibility Exchange Parent Aide in an organization that is not an Exchange CAP Center

5 Organization may be a 501c3 or for profit
Sponsorship by a local Exchange Club or an Exchange District Must use Exchange Parent Aide name for program Mandatory training for direct supervisor and direct service staff Exchange Parent Aide is a free service to families

6 Must complete Exchange Parent Aide accreditation
Must submit Monthly Statistical Report Exchange Club membership strongly encouraged Encourage attendance at annual NEC Child Abuse Prevention Symposium Exchange branding on materials

7 Agreement Required: Between Organization, National Exchange Club and sponsoring Exchange Club(s) This identifies responsibilities of signatories including: Fundraising / Payment of Fees Commitment to fidelity of Exchange Parent Aide model Meeting training requirements Benefits to be provided by NEC

9 Fees $800 Initial Fee $2300 Training Fee ($1150 each for 2 people, includes travel, hotel and staff time) $750 Scholarship for Symposium attendance $150 Accreditation Fee Annual renewal fee of $2,500

10 Benefits All support services, resources, and materials available to Exchange Child Abuse Prevention Centers including consultation, CAP materials, Discussion Forum, Website member, etc.
