Imperialism is when one nation controls the economy & government of another nation. Industrialism was the primary reason for imperialism. Industrial countries needed more raw materials and new markets to sell their finished products too.

The Asian and African continents became the most sought after areas
to Colonize !
This race created competition between European powers like ENGLAND, FRANCE, GERMANY
