A) MDA-MB-231 cells were treated with 1 M OHT and cell lysates were prepared at the times
indicated, and the expression of FOXM1, ERα, PLK, CDC25b and tubulin was analyzed by Western
blotting. B and C) MDA-MB-231 cells were transfected with increasing amounts of FOXM1 and ERα.
The expression of FOXM1, ERα, cyclin D1, pS2 and tubulin was analyzed by Western blotting.
The results indicated that the expression of FOXM1 and ERα is not affected by OHT treatment. The
results also showed that overexpression of ERα cannot induce the expression of FOXM1 and vice
Versa. However, overexpression of FOXM1 can enhance the expression of cyclin D1.
