8. Directions for collage comic:
SET UP:
Get with your partners, make 8 boxes on a LARGE sheet of white paper, 4 on one side and 4 on the other
Write the title in each box as seen in the previous slide.
PICTURES:
Use your book
FIND pictures in the magazines that depict/show an understanding of each topic
Example: find a picture(s) that you think shows Sputnik
YOU can also combine different pictures from the magazines to make ONE picture (ie the face of one person and the body of another) or draw any additions (ie: color a shirt brown, etc)
Cut out at least ONE word to represent each topic
If you can’t find a word, cut out letters to make a word
DESCRIPTIONS: Write a description of what your picture is showing.
